Rapid River man arrested on cocaine charges
A 60-year-old Rapid River man is facing cocaine charges after a three-month long investigation.
The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team arrested the suspect Tuesday on two counts of delivery of cocaine and one count of conspiracy to deliver cocaine. A second suspect in the investigation, a 62-year-old man from downstate Kent County, was arrested May 23 for possession with intent to deliver cocaine.
U.P.S.E.T. detectives have sent the case to the Delta County Prosecutor’s Office for review for additional charges or arrests.
The Michigan State Police Hometown Security Team and the Delta County Sheriff’s Department assisted U.P.S.E.T. in the investigation.
