NMU hockey team releases 2014-15 schedule
The NMU hockey Wildcats have released their schedule for next season. It includes 18 home games and non-conference games against Wisconsin and Penn State, among others.
The Wildcats begin the regular season by playing Wisconsin on October 17th and 18th in Green Bay. Wisconsin played in the NCAA Tournament this year after winning the Big Ten’s first-ever hockey tournament. The opening home series is on October 31st and November 1st against Alabama-Huntsville.
The Wildcats play their first home-and-home series against Michigan Tech on January 9th and 10th. Another weekend worth noting is January 23rd and 24th, when NMU visits Penn State. The Nittany Lions are coming off their inaugural season of men’s NCAA hockey after playing as a club team prior to that.
The team wraps up the regular season with a home-and-home series against Michigan Tech on March 6th and 7th.
