Ironwood residents take different pleas in meth lab case
Two Ironwood residents who had more than $75,000 worth of meth seized from their home in early March have entered differing pleas in federal court.
Richard Hill and Rebecca Suzik, both 37, appeared in U.S. District Court in Marquette this week for preliminary exams.
Suzik pled guilty Monday to one count of withholding information on a crime. She is scheduled for sentencing August 20.
Hill took a different route. He pled not guilty Tuesday to four counts of meth-related charges, including possession with intent to distribute meth. His case will move forward for an initial pretrial June 6. If Hill decides to enter a plea agreement, he has until June 23 to do so. If not, he will go to trial on July 14.
