Weather Forecast 5/12-13

Rain and storms were scattered across much of the Upper Peninsula Monday.

The air mass moving across the U.P. Monday night will keep the air damp, and lows will stay steady in the upper 40’s to lower 50’s with light winds at 5-10 miles per hour.

Showers continue through Tuesday, but temperatures will reach the upper 50’s to lower 60’s. Winds will shift to from the east to the northwest between 10-20 miles per hour.

Rain will diminish by Tuesday night.  Skies clear late as cooler air works its way into the U.P., dropping lows to the lower 30’s.

Wednesday looks clear, before another round of showers move in Thursday.
