Escanaba man sentenced to a minimum of 38 months in prison for three CSC charges

A 20-year-old Escanaba man will spend at least three years and as many as ten in prison for three counts of criminal sexual conduct.

Sean Goodchild was sentenced to a minimum of 38 months of jail time today in Delta County Circuit Court for one count of “assault with intent to commit penetration” and two counts of “accosting children for immoral purposes.”

He admitted to the charges back in February, which stemmed from incidents in July of 2013 through January of 2014.

In addition to incurring court fines totaling more than $300, Goodchild was given credit for 116 days served.
