Hancock, MI – Finlandia University softball coach Brittany Williams has announced that Christina Krider and Nicole Dall have committed to bring their talents to Finlandia University starting in the 2014-2015 season.

Christina Krider is a catcher/third baseman from Hiddenite, NC where she attends Alexander Central High School. Currently, Krider’s high school is ranked No. 1 in the USA Today/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Top 25 Poll. During her time at Alexander Central High School, Krider has helped her team to state titles in 2011 and 2013, and conference championships in 2011, 2012 and 2013. In 2013, Krider was also named to the District 7 All-Region Team.

“We are very excited about Christina joining us in the fall,” said coach Williams. “She is a hard worker with a great attitude and a desire to compete at the highest level possible. She will bring with her a strong arm from behind the plate, great knowledge of the game and solid fundamentals.”

Nicole Dall is a pitcher/first baseman from Canyon Country, CA where she attends Canyon High School. Dall also plays travel ball for So Cal Insanity, which is based out of Stevenson Ranch, CA, where she has a .380 batting average.

“In the circle, she has a great presence and command of her pitches, plus a great change up to offset her velocity,” coach Williams said. “Offensively, she will bring a ton of power to our lineup, with the ability to hit for average as well. We are beyond excited to welcome these two young ladies to our program.”
