Lori commits to play basketball at Finlandia

Hancock, MI – Negaunee Miner Eric Lori plans on following Coach Mike O’Donnell as he has committed to continue his education and basketball career at Finlandia University starting in the 2014-2015 season.

“I feel he Eric may have gotten over looked a bit by bigger colleges because of his height,” said Coach Mike O’Donnell.

Lori is a 5’9” guard averaged 16.3 points per game and 3.3 rebounds per game in his senior season for Negaunee. He was also named to the 2014 Mid Peninsula All-Conference 1st Team and the 2014 All-UP 1st Team Class ABC. Along with that, Eric helped lead the Miners to back to back Class C Semi-Final berths.

“Eric is a gym rat, a great student, and a kid who will do whatever it takes to win,” O’Donnell said. “I’m very excited to get him in our program and have the opportunity to continue to work with him.”
