MARQUETTE, Mich. – Northern Michigan University hockey coach Walt Kyle announced Thursday that forward Ryan Kesti  and defenseman Jake Baker, who will both be entering their senior season, have been named Co-Captains for the upcoming 2014-15 campaign.

“Jake and Ryan exemplify the qualities we value in leaders,” said Kyle. “They are both excellent students and high integrity character guys that have their teammates full respect. They were selected by their teammates and are excellent choices. I feel very good about them and know the leadership is in great hands as we move into the coming season.”

Kesti and Baker were voted Co-Captains by their teammates.

Kesti was one of only four players to appear in all 37 games last season for the Wildcats recording seven points (3-4—7). Baker appeared in 35 games and picked up six points (1-5—6) while logging a +3 +/- rating.
