Bell Hospital is hosting the 6th annual Women’s Health Expo Saturday.

Women from the area are encouraged to come out and hear informative lectures by doctors and receive free screenings such as breast exams. In addition, there will also be health demonstrations and a women’s care panel.

“We just offer a wide array of both the pampering and the education so it’s a good day for in the morning and it ends at 11:30 so you’ll be able to go out and have lunch with your friends, which we are also offering coupons in the brochure for local restaurants, and have a great day,” Bell Hospital Coordinator of Volunteer Services Julie Solka said.

Women can also meet with doctors and look at different health care providers.

“Basically they get to somewhat meet the doctor, hear about what they have to say and they’re able actually to register that day, if they would want to, after their screening, if they wanted to do that and pick a provider,” Solka said.

The expo runs from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and just because it’s a women’s health expo doesn’t mean men aren’t invited.
