Weather Forecast 4-2-14

The day started off with mostly sunny skies and chilly temps.  Highs reached the middle 30’s with breezy N winds.  Tonight mostly clear conditions will continue as high pressure will be in control.  Low temperatures drop to the lower teens while winds will be light around 5 mph.

Thursday looks to be another cool one for us as highs only reach the middle 30’s.  Clouds grow through the day with our next disturbance moving in while ESE winds blow at 10 to 15 mph.  Tomorrow night clouds thicken up even more for everyone and snow showers cover the entire region.  This will occur well around midnight as accumulations add up to around 2 inches.  Lows for tomorrow night fall to the middle and upper 20’s with E winds increasing to 10 to 20 mph.

Friday arrives bringing with it a very messy disturbance.   A Winter Storm Watch has already been issued from Thursday evening through Friday night with Western U.P. looking to feel the brunt of the system with a possible 8 to 14 inches! I’ll continue to keep you updated on the system as new information comes in.
