U.P. rivals set to clash on Thursday
Upper Peninsula rivals Northern Michigan and Michigan Tech will once again meet on the hardwood on Thursday. Back on Feb. 3, the Lady Huskies came away with the 71 to 65 win over the Wildcats.
Michigan Tech is 3-3 in its last six games, while the Wildcats have been red hot, winners of their last six. Both women’s basketball games will host a GLIAC playoff game last week. There will be more than just pride on the line when these two teams clash at the Berry Events Center.
Tip-off from BEC is set for 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Northern Michigan is 11-2 this season at home, while the Huskies have a 7-4 road record.
