UPDATE: Car collides with train in Iron Mountain

A 44-year-old woman was injured after her vehicle collided with a train in Iron Mountain on H Street near River Avenue. Police say she was transported to Dickinson Memorial Hospital for treatment and released.
She was cited for failure to yield at a railroad crossing.
The Iron Mountain Police Department was assisted on scene by the Kingsford Public Safety Department, V.A. Police Department, Dickinson County Sheriff’s Department, Integrated First Responders, and the Iron Mountain Fire Department.

Minor injuries were reported after a car and train collided in Iron Mountain Thursday.
The Iron Mountain Police Department says the accident happened on H Street just before 5 p.m. CST. They say there was no damage to the ELS 501 train, but there is no information regarding the vehicle.
The incident remains under investigation.
