The man who was allegedly stabbed by his stepdaughter this past summer reached a plea deal in Delta County District Court.
Clyde Hardwick, 64, pled guilty to domestic violence and controlled substance maintaining a drug house.
Three charges were dropped: controlled delivery/manufacture of marijuana, controlled substance attempted, and domestic violence assault.
In August, troopers from the Gladstone Post of the Michigan State Police responded to an incident in Masonville Township where Hardwick’s stepdaughter allegedly stabbed him in an act of self defense.
While on scene, troopers discovered an illegal marijuana grow operation.
Hardwick will be sentenced February 20.
