Armga leads Tech men past Lake Erie
Austin Armga scored 30 points on 10-of-18 shooting to lead the Michigan Tech University men’s basketball team past Lake Erie, 81-64 on Thursday night.
The Huskies made 15 3-point shots against the Storm. Alex Culy was 4-of-6 from beyond the arc. He finished with 14 points. Michigan Tech shot 52 percent (26-50) from the field.
Armga grabbed a team high 10 rebounds, for his first career double-double. He also led the Huskies with six assists.
Michigan Tech (9-2, 5-2 GLIAC) are next in action on Saturday, Jan. 11 at Ashland. Tip-off is set for 1:30 p.m.
