A snowmobile driver is recovering from non-life-threatening injuries tonight after crashing in Wells Township this afternoon.
The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident which took place just before 2:00 p.m. two miles east of County Road SY on Trail #33.
According to the report, the driver was traveling east on the trail when the surface dipped causing the driver to lose control of his machine, eventually being thrown from it.
The injured driver was traveling with two other subjects who called 911 and provided aid to the victim until emergency units arrived. The driver complained of non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Marquette General Health Systems for treatment.
Forsyth Township Fire and EMS, and Marquette General EMS assisted the Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
