Three Menominee men allegedly involved in heroin distribution in Michigan and Wisconsin appeared in the United States District Court in Wisconsin for preliminary hearings Friday.

Michael Peak, 40, Donald Myers, 41, and Eric Ebbole, 42, are each charged with one count of conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance and one count of use of communication facility to distribute a controlled substance.

The trio, along with six other co–defendants, appeared in federal court last week for criminal complaints.

The U.S. District Court in Green Bay is handling the case, but the defendants are scheduled to appear in federal court in Milwaukee within thirty days for indictment.
