The snowfall and cold temperatures definitely made it feel like Christmas in Ishpeming Thursday night.
Christmas carols played in downtown Ishpeming as part of Main Street was closed so kids–and adults–could enjoy some Christmas activities.
Free sleigh rides went around the block, and riders were able to feed the horse apples. The Butler Theater held a live nativity scene and offered hot chocolate and cookies to warm people up.
Santa and Mrs. Claus made an appearance to hear last-minute Christmas wishes from kids.
