Two arrested on heroin charges
Two people were arrested on heroin drug charges in Chippewa County Tuesday.
The Straits Area Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested a 23–year–old Detroit man and 32–year–old Brimley woman at a residence in Superior Township. S.A.N.E. officials seized heroin, cash, and drug paraphernalia from the home.
The man was arrested on delivery of heroin and possession with intent to deliver heroin charges. The woman was arrested for conspiracy to deliver heroin and maintaining a drug house.
The pair is lodged in the Chippewa County Jail.
S.A.N.E. was assisted by Troopers from the Sault Ste. Marie Post of the Michigan State Police, Michigan State Police Canine Unit, and the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Department.
