NMU end-of-semester holiday meal
While it’s the season of tidings and good cheer, for NMU students it’s also the season of end-of-semester assignments, projects and finals.
To make this time of the year more enjoyable, the Dining Services Division at NMU has prepared a special holiday meal. The faculty says they hope it will help relieve some stress and give students a chance to socialize before going home.
Stephanie Raboin of NMU Dining Services says, “With each holiday that comes up, the opportunity to just mix up our regular menu cycle and try something different and put in some new items and connect with the students and what they want to eat and what they enjoy eating this time of year.”
“I think it’s awesome because half of it is prepared by students that have exams, and they take the time off of their day and their study time to help make this for us,” said NMU junior Lauren Dehanas. “It’s really good, I like the sweet potatoes and stuffing the best.”
The university dining halls will be closed for winter break starting on December 15th. You can visit their website for the winter break hours.
