Cliffs Natural Resources donates to food banks

Cliffs Natural Resources, (NYSE: CLF) (Paris: CLF) announced today that it is making financial contributions to food banks in its North American operating locations totaling in excess of $60,000 that will provide meals to those in need in our business communities.

“Sadly, people are finding themselves stretched financially and turning to local food banks to feed their families,” said Raga Elim, Cliffs’ vice president of corporate and government affairs.  “Cliffs is pleased it is able to provide assistance to organizations that help families in our local communities.”

Locally, food banks run by the Salvation Army in Ishpeming and Marquette and the St. Vincent DePaul Society in Negaunee each received $5,000 to help stock pantry shelves and provide support to families in need.
