Marquette finalist for a “Shredtown Showdown”
The winter sports season is still a few weeks away, but Marquette is already making a big splash in the snowboarding world.
YoBeat is one of the nation’s premiere snowboarding outfits, and is in the midst of crowning a “Shredtown Showdown” champion.
Marquette is currently leading the pack as one of the two remaining finalists.
YoBeat’s staff hand-picked the 32 towns vying for the title based on a number of factors, including proximity to snow, snow received, and what else there is to do there.
The winner will be crowned next Monday after all of the votes from the public have been tallied.
