NMU men’s hoops defeat Grace Bible
The Northern Michigan University men’s basketball team won its first home game of the season on Monday, Nov. 18, against Grace Bible College, 90-72, at the Berry Events Center.
The Wildcats jumped out to an early 16-6 lead and they never looked back. Junior forward Justin Newell led the Wildcats with 24 points. Freshman guard Marcus Hall finished with 21 points for NMU. Hall finished the night 6 of 10 from beyond the arc.
NMU out-rebounded the Tigers, 38-32. The Wildcats will be back at home on Thursday, Nov. 21 against Southwest Minnesota State. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
