Chippewa County woman jailed on drug charges
A Chippewa County woman is in jail tonight on drug charges.
The Straits Area Narcotics Team says she’s 20-year-old Rachel Nicole McCord of Soo Township. She’s charged with two felony counts of delivery of heroin and one misdemeanor count of maintaining a drug house.
SANE says they arrested McCord on Wednesday, but there’s no word on where they took her into custody. There’s also no word on the amount of the bond on which she’s being held or on when her next court appearance may be.
The investigation is ongoing, and SANE says they expect further arrests.
