Lost hunter found safe
The Delta County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to search for a missing hunter.
The hunter was a 63-year-old man from the Flushing area. Police found him in Nahma Township near 33rd Road shortly after 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night. He was transported to OSF St. Francis Hospital where he was treated and released.
The hunter’s name has not been released.
Assisting the Delta County Sheriff’s Department was the Delta County Search and Rescue team, Nahma Township Fire Department, Tri-Star E.M.S. and Rampart E.M.S.
