‘Cats edge Huskies in straight sets
The Northern Michigan University volleyball team wrapped up the home portion of their schedule with a 3-0 victory over Michigan Tech on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
NMU cruised in all three sets, winning the sets 25-15, 25-17 and 25-14. Kalli Herron led the Wildcats with 10 kills. Sarah Hamilton added nine kills and Alexis Nelson chipped in with seven kills for the ‘Cats.
Michigan Tech finished the match with 18 kills, while Northern compiled 41 kills as a team. The Huskies were led by Shelby Jones with four kills. Jacqueline Arid added
