Not-for-profit gift shop in unique location
If you have a need to shop, why not also give a little something back.
The Bell Hospital Gift Shop is a not-for-profit gift shop run by volunteers.
You can purchase everything from fresh flowers, to the latest jewelry and novelty items.
“Even when we make a profit from the gift shop, the funds raised, we give back to the community, whether it is money or product, it just depends on what the need is,” Gift Shop Manager Debbie Bussone said. “We did also give out two scholarships to someone going into the medical field.”
Bell’s gift shop is gaining in popularity and it is now considered a local gift shop with great items for sale.
“We’ve taken this hospital from homemade items to destination gifts for a lot of people,” Bussone said. “I love the scarves, purses, oh just everything, which is why I am here so much. ”
With some items starting at just a dollar, Bussone says she tries to cater to everyone.
