Marquette teenagers arrested for concealing death
Two Marquette teenagers have been arrested on charges related to the death of a young man.
The two teenagers are 19-year-old Jordan Beaudry and 17-year-old Christopher Garrow. They’re charged with concealing the death of an individual, which is a felony, and failing to report the discovery of a dead body, which is a misdemeanor.
Garrow has already been arraigned in 96th District Court. He has a preliminary exam and pre-trial conference scheduled for November 8th. Garrow is being held in the Marquette County Jail on $1,000 bond for each charge. Beaudry is not in the jail at the moment. However, no further information about him is available at this point.
The Marquette Police arrested Beaudry and Garrow on Friday. The charges against the two teenagers are related to the death of 22-year-old Kyle Dowling. He was found dead on the front porch of his home on the 1400 block of Lynn Street on October 1st.
Police say they learned while investigating Dowling’s death that Beaudry and Garrow had both been with him the night before his body was found. The two are accused of failing to summon medical help while Dowling was having a medical emergency and of not reporting his death.
Dowling’s toxicology reports are still pending. The investigation into his death is ongoing.
