A 19-year-old Bruce Crossing woman was arrested for assault and malicious destruction of property Thursday after assaulting a resident at an adult foster care home.
The Ontonagon County Sheriff’s Department said the woman, who is also a resident at the home, assaulted another resident and call the incident a ‘simple assault’.
Police say after the assault, the woman went outside of the home and threw a pumpkin on a worker’s vehicle. The pumpkin dented the passenger side of the vehicle.
The woman is currently lodged in the Ontonagon County Jail. Her name will be released after arraignment in Ontonagon County District Court.
