Haunted Theatre returns to NMU

Haunted House Theatre returns to Northern Michigan University Thursday.  For the fifth year,  the students and volunteer staff will put on a spooky good time.

The Forest Roberts Theatre is now fourteen rooms of terror.

Ghosts, goblins, and zombies will be your hosts for the fright fest.  Some new surprises have been added this year.

“Hopefully sheer terror, I hope they are entertained, I hope they are scarred for life, I hope they have nightmares,” Haunted Theatre Director Marty Martello said.  “The maze has always been a good attraction.  People love to get lost in the maze and you never know what you are going to find when you go around a corner.”

“I would say about a nine or an eight even, Because it does depend on the person and how chicken you are but it definitely is up there on the scare factor,” actor Alice Hyttinen said.

Prices range from $5 for students and kids to $10 for adults.  Special pricing is available for families.

The Haunted Theatre opens Thursday for a three day run.  Showtime is at 7 p.m.
