Michigan Tech has received a major donation from General Motors.    Tech grad Steve Tomaszewski presented the super–sized check in the amount of $100,000 to MTU president, Dr. Glenn Mroz, today.

Tomaszewski is one of about 1,000 MTU grads who work for GM.  The company is a long–time supporter of Michigan Tech.

The money is a grant from the General Motors Foundation and will fund a variety of student activities, including the Advanced Hybrid Electric Vehicle and Advanced Motorsports Enterprises, Environmental Engineering senior design, student groups and diversity programs.
