An Iron County man was sentenced to jail in connection with a felony weapons charge.

Daniel Pollock, 24, of Caspian was sentenced to nine months in jail and two years probation after pleading guilty to an attempted dangerous weapons felony charge.

He was not given any days credited in jail because he was in violation of his parole.

Pollock was arrested in June by the Michigan State Police after a traffic stop.  Police found items in his car that matched the description of property that had been stolen from the Iron County Cemetery this spring.
