LSCP partners with Small Biz group

MARQUETTE – The Lake Superior Community Partnership (LSCP) has entered into a one year agreement with the Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Center (MI-SBTDC). As part of the partnership, the LSCP will provide business services under the MI-SBTDC processes and have access to their many resources. The goal of the agreement is to streamline services and provide the most efficient and effective business development services moving forward. Both will continue to serve clients throughout Marquette County.

“We have partnered with the MI-SBTDC for many years so this formal relationship is a natural next step,” said LSCP CEO, Amy Clickner. “Ultimately both organizations are focused on providing the services necessary to assist existing and start up business clients in Marquette County.”

“I believe this collaboration will help avoid duplication of resources, increase the amount of access opportunities for small businesses, and assure an overall level of consistency and quality for all of our deliverables,” said MI-SBTDC Director, Joel Schultz.
