Man heads to trial for cocaine charge
An Ishpeming man pled not guilty to felony drug charges in Marquette County District Court today.
Jordan David LaChapell, 19, is now headed for a trial jury on January 14, 2014.
LaChapell was arrested back in May after an Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team search warrant led to the recovery of more than an ounce of cocaine and $1,800.
He is charged with one count of Controlled Substance Delivery or Manufacture of Less than 50 grams of Cocaine.
LaChapell has one final pretrial conference on December 13.
