Tuesday is National Voter Registration Day, and Michigan Secretary of State Ruth Johnson says some Michigan communities are participating in it.
She says a complete listing of them can be found online at the event’s national website. One of the events involves the Secretary of State Mobile Office being open for business from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday outside Lansing City Hall.
Johnson says anyone who can’t attend any of the registration events but who wants to register to vote can visit any Secretary of State office or county clerk’s office. The process only involves filling out a simple form.
