NMU golfers compete in tournament
The Northern Michigan University golf team finished 13th at the GLIAC North Invite at the Hawks Head G.C. in downstate South Haven over the weekend. NMU had a total team score of 627 at the tournament.
Mike Murphy and Jared Reid both led the ‘Cats on the course, each shooting a collective 154. Murphy finished both of his rounds with a 77, while Reid fired a 79 on Saturday and a 75 on Sunday.
NMU begins play at the NCAA Regional at Harborside International in Calumet City, Ill. on Saturday, Sept. 28.
