Teen waives prelim in break-in case
A teenager from Norway will return to court next month in connection with a 10-day crime spree through much of Dickinson County.
Seventeen-year-old Cody Howorth was scheduled to have a District Court preliminary exam this morning.
He waived his right to have the exam.
Howorth’s Circuit Court arraignment is scheduled for September 16th.
He’s charged in connection with a series of breaking and entering incidents in late July and early August.
The break-ins happened in vehicles and garages in Kingsford, Iron Mountain and Norway.
Howorth is facing 11 felony counts and several related misdemeanor charges.
Three other teenagers are charged as juveniles in the same case.
