Escanaba native plays in golf tourney

The 93rd Michigan PGA Professional Championship completed round two on Tuesday. Scott Hebert, a six-time champion at this event, fired a two under, 70 in his second round on the Katke Golf Course at Oakland University.

Hebert is now at even par for the tournament (74-70=144). Hebert is six shots back of the leaders heading into the final round on Wednesday.

Hebert is a golf professional at Grand Traverse Resort in Acme. He is originally from Escanaba and a member of the Upper Peninsula Sports Hall of Fame.
