Blown tire injures Illinois woman in Ontonagon County
An Illinois woman is recovering at Aspirus Grand View Hospital in Ironwood after being injured in a motorcycle accident Saturday morning.
Andrew Peterson of Island Lake, Illinois was traveling on M-28 near Finn Town Road when his motorcycle blew a rear tire. Peterson then lost control of the vehicle and tipped over, resulting in injuries to his passenger, Terry Peterson.
Terry was transported to Aspirus Grand View Hospital in Ironwood for treatment. The extent of the injuries suffered are still unknown.
