*ESCANABA, Mich. – * The Secretary of State Mobile Office will be open for business at the Upper Peninsula State Fair Aug. 12-18, Secretary of State Ruth Johnson announced today.
“The UP State Fair is such a wonderful tradition and we’re happy to be a part of it,” said Johnson. “Need to renew your license plate tabs? Want a duplicate title? You can do all of these things at the UP State Fair. You can also renew your watercraft registration, register to vote or sign up to be an organ donor. Our full-service Mobile Office can offer these services and many more.”
The state fairgrounds are located at 2401 12th Avenue North in Escanaba. The full-service branch will offer all transactions currently available in a standard branch office. It will be located in the Ruth Butler building.
“The Mobile Office was popular last year and we’re looking forward to the same level of popularity this year,” said Vickie Micheau, executive director of the Delta County Chamber of Commerce. “We appreciate the Secretary of State’s office providing these services to the 100,000 fairgoers expected to attend.”
