Two injured in Marquette Township crash
Two people were taken to the hospital following a two car accident Sunday evening in Marquette Township. According to the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened at 7:37 p.m. on US 41 near Northwoods Road.
Police say 42-year-old Linda Dishno of Ishpeming attempted to pull onto US 41 from Northwoods Road in a 2005 Subaru. Dishno pulled into the path of a eastbound 2010 Chevrolet passenger car driven by 32-year-old Erin Bauman of Negaunee.
Bauman and her passenger, 37-year-old Gregory Bauman also of Negaunee were not injured in the crash. Dishno and her passenger, 20-year-old September Dishno of Ishpeming, were taken to Marquette General Hospital for treatment of minor injuries by MGH EMS.
Marquette City Police, Marquette Township Fire and Rescue, and the Michigan State Police all assisted at the scene.
