US-41 rollover crash in Skandia
The Marquette County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a rollover accident on US-41 in Skandia.
It took place shortly before 2:30 Saturday afternoon.
Police say a 48-year-old Ishpeming man lost control of his 2007 Chevy Cobalt, crossed the center line and rolled the car over several times.
He was taken to Marquette General Hospital for evaluation. Two adult passengers in the car were unharmed.
Police say they believe the driver was under the influence of drugs at the time of the accident. Charges are being sought through the Marquette County Prosecutor’s Office.
