Food Fest setup in Mqt.
Fourth of July celebrations are only two days away.
In the city of Marquette, that means the familiar sights, sounds and smells of the annual Marquette County Exchange Club International Food Festival.
Crews spent the day putting the final touches on the setup for the festival.
The Food Fest has 11 food vendors from across Marquette County.
The festival serves as ground zero for 4th of July celebrations in Marquette, but it’s also one of the biggest fundraising events of the year.
About $750,000 in Food Fest proceeds have been distributed to nonprofit organizations throughout Marquette County over the years.
The Food Fest opens tomorrow at noon and runs through Friday.
