Delta Co. home damaged in fire
A Delta County home was severely damaged in a fire Friday night.
Escanaba Public Safety responded to the fire at 6650 N Rd in Wells Township about 11:45 p.m. Police say the fire appears to have started in the attached garage and spread quickly throughout the structure.
A 5th wheel camper parked near the garage was also severely damaged.
There were no injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. EPSD was assisted by the Delta County Sheriff Department, Michigan State Police, Escanaba Township Fire Department and Rampart.
The Red Cross also responded to assist the family.
