Simon named Stephenson boys b-ball coach
Joe Simon is the new varsity boys head basketball coach at Stephenson High School. Joe’s Dad, Mark Simon, confirmed this to ABC 10 Sports.
Simon was one of the best basketball players to ever play at Marquette Senior High School. He left MSHS as the programs all-time leading scorer.
In 2009, Simon was named to the Upper Peninsula Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association ‘Dream Team.’
He then went on to play basketball at Lake Superior State, before transferring back to Marquette to play at Northern Michigan. Simon just wrapped up his collegiate career in March.
