Tahquamenon Falls State Park offers “Hike Between Da Falls”

Tahquamenon Falls State Park in Paradise is celebrating National Trails Day on Saturday, June 1 with a special “Hike Between Da Falls,” beginning at 9 a.m. Participants are encouraged to take a free shuttle from the Lower Falls to the Upper Falls, where they will begin the five-mile hike back to the Lower Falls along the scenic River Trail.

The River Trail parallels the beautiful Tahquamenon River, and is also part of the North Country National Scenic Trail. The shuttle will run every 30 minutes between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Outdoor activities, nature crafts and more will be offered all day at both the Upper and Lower Falls.

There is no registration required for this event and no cost to participate; however, a Recreation Passport is required to enter the park.
