DWTS Mqt. Co. Style’s final preparations
Dancing with the Stars: Marquette County Style is less than 24 hours away, and that means it is time for the final preparations.
There was a final dress rehearsal Wednesday night at the Forest Roberts Theatre.
After almost three months of rehearsal, the couples can finally show off all of their hard work in front of a sell out crowd.
“It’s been such a great experience, and it’s all led up to this great big moment,” Elizabeth Petersen-Stelwagen said, who is dancing with her husband Landon to the waltz.
The Stelwagens say one of their favorite parts about participating in the event is that it is something the two of them can do together.
“It was really nice to have something that we could do together without our kids,” Landon said. “Sometimes you get lost in the busy-ness of life. And to have something that you know you have to do this every week (practice), we have to practice together and we have to work together, it’s been really good for us.”
All proceeds from the event benefit the U.P. Hospice Foundation.
Dancing with the Stars starts at 5:30 p.m. Thursday with a cocktail hour, and the show is slated to start at 7 p.m.
