HOUGHTON, Mich. — Plans for Michigan Tech football’s annual spring game tomorrow (April 20) are still tentative due to weather. The game, which was scheduled for 1 p.m. at Sherman Field, will likely now just be a scrimmage if the event happens at all.
Fans are asked not to travel from out of town for the game. Also, due to the amount of snow still in the stands, there are no seats available at Sherman Field.
Head coach Tom Kearly said a decision on tomorrow’s plans will be made in the morning. “The spring game is for the players. I want to do everything we can to give them the opportunity to play, but we’ll have wait until tomorrow to see if it’s even a possibility.”
