NMU Student Receives MAB Scholarship

​MARQUETTE, Mich.—Cody Boyer, a Northern Michigan University student from Gladwin, Mich., recently received a scholarship from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters Foundation.

The WBKB-TV, WBKP-TV, WBUP-TV, WOLV-FM, WCCY-AM, WHKB-FM and Marks Foundation Scholarships, worth $1,000 each, were awarded to two faculty-recommended students enrolled in a broadcasting-related program.

Boyer is a senior enrolled in both the media production and new technology and English programs at NMU. He works as a producer for Public Eye News, a student news broadcast aired on WNMU-TV, NMU’s public television station. He also works as a sports editor for The North Wind, NMU’s student-run newspaper.
