Volunteers needed for tree sale
The Marquette County Conservation District tree sale pick up for previously placed native tree and shrub orders is scheduled for Friday, April 26, from 5–8p.m. and Saturday, April 27, from 9–noon at the Marquette Board of Light and Power, 2200 Wright Street, Marquette.
In addition, we are seeking volunteers to help out at this fun community event–no experience is necessary, only interest in the activities of your conservation district. Please call (906) 226–2461 ext 102 for more information.
The annual tree sale is MCCD’s largest fund raising event for the year. All proceeds are put back into District programs to better serve the residents and natural resource users of Marquette County.
