Amber Alert issued for missing girl
Police in Upper Michigan have been asked to be on the lookout for a missing Texas girl who may be en route to Canada.
Authorities in Cedar Hill, Texas say 12 year old Summer Brown is the missing girl. She’s described as African American, 5’6″, 90 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Police believe she is with 43 year old Lisa Elizabeth Brown, described as African American, 5’8″, 120 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Lisa Brown is believed to be driving a grey 2006 Ford Expedition with a temporary Texas license plate (86P3357.)
Texas authorities contacted U.P. police because they believe the woman is taking the girl to Canada and is likely to drive through Michigan.
